Please make certain your nominee will attend NPD on Tuesday, Nov 15
Nominations should be submitted by 5pm on Friday August 28, 2022

Recognition is awarded in the following categories.

Outstanding Philanthropist: Honors an individual with a proven record of exceptional generosity who, through direct financial support, demonstrates outstanding civic and charitable responsibility. The nominee’s generosity should encourage others to take philanthropic leadership roles on a local or national level.

Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser: Honors an individual who demonstrates outstanding skills in coordinating and motivating groups of donors and volunteers for charitable fundraising projects. He/she must have demonstrated exceptional leadership in fundraising for a nonprofit.

Outstanding Corporation/Foundation: Honors a corporation or foundation that demonstrates outstanding commitment through financial support of nonprofit organizations.

Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy: Honors an outstanding youth from the age of 5 to 18 who has demonstrated outstanding philanthropic commitment to our community in the past year through direct philanthropic support, development of programs, volunteering and/or leadership.

Lifetime Achievement: Honors an outstanding fundraising professional who has demonstrated many years of commitment and performance in the nonprofit sector and to AFP Las Vegas. Nominee must have been employed by or consulted to nonprofit organizations. Nominee must also be a current member of AFP in good standing.

Outstanding Fundraising Professional: Honors an outstanding fundraising professional who works directly for a nonprofit charitable organization. Nominee must be a current AFP member (as of 1/1/22), and spend the majority of their time on fundraising. Special consideration is given to those who have shown support to or involvement with AFP Las Vegas.

Outstanding Champion of Diversity Award: Recognizes an individual or family who has demonstrated leadership and promoted best practices in diversity in a broad range of their activities, including philanthropy. Through their philanthropic activities, these Diversity Champions bridge communities and promote cultural awareness, strengthening community philanthropy and fostering the wealth of ideas and collaboration that our myriad of experiences bring to the Las Vegas Region. These Diversity Champions are "connectors" who embrace the rich tapestry of our community. The breadth of their philanthropic activities enhances their impact on the community, creating opportunities and cultivating economic and cultural growth and empowerment.
